Default removing baffles from SE pipes

I have a set of SE slash cut duals on my springer classic. In an effort to beef up the sound I've been considering either removing or replacing the existing baffles. Anyone out there ever done this? Looks like the baffles are welded in, I'm not sure though. I've de-baffled pipes before but never these.

Check with jw5150, he removed his from his streetbob and put something else in that really gives it some throat.

I have removed the baffles from my SE 16 ga. for my V Rod. The sound is now amazing. Check out the Dyno Run in the Chat forum, especially the very end when you can hear it idle. Probably already know, but make sure you modulate the fuel system.

Sorry for the delay.

Fortunately, mine have a allen bolt that holds them in on the side. Remove the bolt, slide them out. Can't help if they are welded in, I would probably grind the welds off.

I had my baffles cut down. Now they appear street legal, they run much deeper and throaty, they have a tinny high end sound at high RPMs, they also run a little leaner which the Local Harley shop says they can not fix it because it is soo close to being perfect that we would fight it more then it is worth.
