Lowering My Deuce
I found this on ebay and I'm interested in giving it a try. Has anyone tried this kit or know anything about it?
TIA.

If you do a search you will find a ton of info on the bolts as a lowering method. You might also notice a LOT of folks..including me...then sprang for the Progressive shocks after spending money on the bolts. My Deuce tended to bottom way too easy with bolts lowering it about 1 1/2" or so that the rim was about even with fender. progressives did not make it exactly make it into a magic carpet ride but they were HUGE improvement...still feel OK about them after 7-8K miles and I HATE spending $. I got the bolts and worked for 3 hours to get them on my 2001 FXSTDI. I followed the directions and screwed the female threads of the bolts into the male threads of my stock bolts. They were long enough but I couldn't get them to squirm into place. I took them off and just reinstalled the stock and left it at that for now. I got pi$$ed and I don't want to spend the $$$ on Pergressive right now. there's other things for my bike higher on the list.
