Default Black Chrome?

Has anyone seen or done the following?

I am thinking of what to do for my winter project. Here is an interesting idea I have come up with. Everything chrome on my bike get powdercoated black (or night) chrome. What do you think? It would be that smokey chrome, not just a gloss black powdercoat. What do you think? I think this is what MOCO needs for a CVO Night Train down the line!

Thanks,
Oeloudz71

Hmmm. Black chrome.
Brake pedal, shifter assy and jiffy stand. Wonder if shiny chrome can be plated w/black, or will it need to be removed? If it's the same process, I'd think it would work. BUT, if it uses a different electrolyte, (and I'm no electro-chemist!), what then?
