im am looking to remove the stock exhaust for something better. i've noticed that a lot of bikes have the v&h on them. is there any specific reason for this (easy install, dealer recommended, etc.)? does anyone also have an opinion on samson exhaust? any info would help. thanks.

i just went with the pipes that looked the best to me. and that just happened to be V&H. any of them, will give a good rumble. and i could care less about a few HP one way or another. if i was buying a bike for power, i wouldve bought an MT109 or kept my crotch rocket. if youre concerned about squeezign every ounce of HP out of the bike, then you might wanna do your homework, to see which pipes are best. otherwise, just listen to some sound clips online, to see what you like best.
i appreciate all of the input and i like the sound of v&h alot.
DragonSlayer08 iv been trying to find clips of exhaust to see what i like and listen to them but there arent many out there for martin bros. how aggressive of a sound is it?

Check out 57RebelRocker's profile. I'm pretty sure he has the Shockwave's and if I remember correctly I think he may have even posted a video at some point...Just going off of memory, which can by shaky, I didn't feel like looking it up myself to confirm.
