Default Risers and bushings for Wild1 apes help!!!

Alright I'm in the middle of the ape hanger install and just ran into a huge setback...

I have the Wild1 bars and 1.5" risers. I never purchased the clamp because I thought I can use the stock HD clamp. So...are there 1.5-2" risers I can purchase at the dealer that will work with the Wild1 apes and stock clamp?

Second...I purchased the poly bushings, but how do I take the old ones off and install the new ones? Need a press? Will probably stick with the stock ones then.

Was planning on riding tomorrow, but it looks like it's not going to happen.

Thanks,
Dave

You do not need a press. Take the risers off and you will see how they come out. As far as the risers, are the bars 1.5" all the way down the bars, or are the bars stepped down where they mount on the risers and for the grips?

My Wild1 1 1/4" bars are stepped down at the clamp letting the stock clamp work. See if thats your case too.

I took the risers off and was trying to get the bushings out with no success. What's the trick...they spin, but will not come out.

As far as the risers go I should have clarified that they are 1.5" tall and not for 1.5" bars. The bars are stepped down to fit the stock clamp, but the problem is that the bolt pattern on the Wild1 risers do not line up with the stock clamp.

Well to complete the installation I will use the stock Deluxe risers and clamp even though the risers are huge and bent forward.

clamp? the riser has top&bottom right? make sure you get a high rated bolt to go in riser too,as far as bushings i got a rubber mallet and screwdriver worked 4 me
you must also make sure the riser is for diameter of bar as well

Sounds like you either need harley riser and clamp or wild one riser and clamp. It does not seem they are compatible. Take your pick. Deluxe risers will be fine with the setup, as long as you put the poly bushings in the risers.
