The Headlight & Spotlights will dim every once in a while driving at freeway speeds. I have not noticed the battery getting weaker. My commute is over 50 miles each way on the freeway. Is there a relay in the lighting system?

Thanks for all the replys, I think I will be checking the battery connections first. The battery is a gel battery and I have not had any previous problems with it.

 

...I am no motorcycle mechanic but,since the engine and electronics run off the charging system while the engine is running,especially at constant RPM such as hiway speeds,I would suspect the charging system...I hope I am wrong and a simple tightening of the batt terms solves the problem for ya..:>)
