Lets see those Fatboys!

Previous owner did the mods, but I believe the intake is the Screamin' Eagle stage I with the Willie G. lid, and the saddle I'm not sure of, I'll take a look-see tomorrow and see if there's a brand or model # under it.

Hello,
just bought my 2005 Fatboy with 5340 miles and being 5"7' would like to raise and pull the bars back a bit but without cable or brake line modifications.
I also will be replacing the original tires and doing a full oil/primary change. The belt is original also, should i be worried for its age not mileage? The bike was a friends and he hasn't ridden in a couple of years just treated fuel and started once in awhile. I've drained tank and added new fuel with seafoam and installed a new batter so far but would like to get the bars done next and looking for suggestion to help me with fit...
Thanks to all and look forward to learning from this forum..

You definitely need to change the tires regardless of how much thread they have. Any tire over 6 yr old and the compounds start to break down and are more likely to come apart or blow out. The belt is fine if it is still in good shape based on a visual inspection.
The newer belts (2000 and on) go over 100,000 miles and Ive never heard of a time limit regarding age. What is important is to inspect it for cracks, teeth, flexibility and be sure the tension is adjusted correctly.
Change out all 3 holes, I use Redline products, Shock Proof in the trans, Redline Primary and Redline 20-50 ( https://www.redlineoil.com/v-twin-20w50-powerpack ) can be found on Amazon for about $100 includes a filter , hat and funnel. But everyone has their own oil preferences.Clean or change the Air Filter and add a little fuel additive , Techron Complete Fuel Cleaner, Redline etc and a fresh tank of gas.
Give the bike a complete look over, check all fasteners that you can get to.
On my 05 I changed bars to Wildones 504 Dresser bars , they are about 4 " wider and I was able to use all stock wiring and cables. Best way to know how far you can go is remove the top clamp and move the bars to about where you want them (taller back etc), if the wiring or cables are tight you will have to change them. Also a lot of bar companies can tell you what will fit without cable or wiring changes.
Get it out and ride it
