Ditto on that. I am about to pull the trigger on a set of Fat Daddy's 18x3.5 F/R and would like to know the same.

Should I go 21" up front?

Yes, definitely go 21" up front. I so glad I did.

The 21 up front is the rage right now. I haven't seen one in person. I am trying to decide the same thing.

OP: yes, a 160 is the widest you can go without cutting the horns.

metzler says 150 but only because the rim size for 160 needs to be 3.5 in

Go the 21" up front lower profile tyre will enhance handling and translate the torque n horsepower to the pavement...

21 inch front wheels are for decoration, not riding

You'll take a hit on cornering performance as the trail measurement in the steering geometry increases making for slower steering with the greater effort required, tire contact patch decreases with a thinner tire, and the gyroscopic effect of the front wheel increases, especially at higher speeds making for more effort getting it leaned over in a turn.

A 21inch front wheel will steer with the directness and precision of a rudder compared to smaller diameter wheels. If you drive your bike offroad though you can roll more easily over big bumps though, why motocross bikes use big front wheels. There is a reason you never see 21inch wheels on a road going motorcycle though unless it is purely for decoration.

Also with the front raised in relation to the rear you are going to have much less weight on the front wheel which will make the bike more skittish in corners.
