Stock Paint or Custom???
I had a custom paint set done for my 06 Deluxe but I am having second thoughts about putting it on or just selling it and staying stock. Mainly because I think it might detract from the old school look. Just looking for opinions on whether or not I should make the change. I probably will just change it out for a while and see how I like it.
Here she is with the stock set:

Not that bad of a idea. X mods with one set and X mods with the other set. ride a different bike each year. I bet you could fool folks at your work into thinking you've got 2 bikes

The custom paint looks good, but has too much flake in it for a Deluxe, imo. I think it will take away from the classic look. Flake looks good on some bikes, but I've always felt the Deluxe is more of the classic FL look from the late '50s, early '60s. Solid colors or 2-tones look best, imo.
