Holy $#!t! Rocker C t-45 seat bolt removal
Wow- did those buggers at the factory weld those t-45 bolts to the frame? I'm trying to remove the t-45 bolt on the chrome part of the seat and can't budge them! I'm a big strong dude, too... tried all four, any hints?

I had a bolt snap in there when I was installing my Danny Gray seat, be carefull with them they strip easily.
Try using a breaker bar to see if it gives you more leverage.

That's probably my first problem... I'm use in a screwdriver-like tool for the bolt, and probably should be using a socket set?

Correct go with a T-45 socket and a breaker bar, that's how I originally got the off when I went with the FXCW seat.

Thanks, bro. And sorry to hear you snapped your bolt. That sounds like a rough deal.

They probably used a thread sealant like loctite. Use a pencil type soldering iron to heat the bolt first.

I have gone through the same process (including snapped bolt). Ended up visiting my dealer who used a tool together with a warm air gun. He told me the warm air gun did it. Never tried it myself.

Whenever in doubt and just short of fugging things up, heat will usually save the situation.

Greetings,
Like the others have stated, I used a blow dryer to heat it up some, then the T-45 and went very, very slow. Take your time as broken bolts suck!
