Default Paul Yaffe Phantom pipes...

Wow. These pipes look awesome. $$$$$$, but still awesome. Anyone know anything about these? I am currently running Hooker Trouble Makers. Would I lose any power with the Phantoms? Anyone seen 'em or heard 'em?

Thanks

Don't know about them but any short drags will lose down low and come in the upper RPM's

Yaffe makes great stuff but it's not cheap. that is for sure. A shorter pipe will usually result in a loss of lower end torques as there is less scavenging of the exhaust gasses. They are usually louder as well.

I had a set of pipes similiar to these but made by Martin Bros prior to the Martin Bros pipe that I currently have on my bike. They looked good and sounded LOUD, but they were next to impossible to tune and my bike ran SUPER hot.
