When using the Tri-Bar, can people behind you easily see you brake during the day?

Is the Tri-Bar more or less bright than stock?

Thanks

Yeah it's more visible for sure. Nice upgrade IMO.

Not the best pics, it tends to screw up the cameras photo sensor, but its what I got.

Running lights on in the garage.

And with the Brake light on;

Guys who have been behind me tell me its damn near too bright.
But it does get your attention and that's the important part as far as I'm concerned.

Funny thing is that since I converted the turn signals to brake/turn functions and installed LED bulbs the back of the bike looks like a cop car or fire truck when I hit the brakes.
Somehow I screwed something up or messed up the logic circuits in the HD run/brake/turn module when I changed the wiring in it to turn/brake only and now if I'm stopped with a turn signal on.
The Tri-Bar and one turn signal blink while the other turn stays off.
If I put the brakes on the Tri-Bar and one turn stays on bright while the turning side blinks.
Its not 'supposed' to work that way, but I think I like it better as its a lot more visible in day light.

I agree it's much brighter and a definite improvement.

How much work is it to make the tri bar tail light not only function as brake lights but turn signals as well?

Forget it unless you have access to an electronics lab to rewire it and add the electronic parts (chip's) needed to do the job.
I haven't taken one apart (its way too damn expensive to experiment on) but if I had to guess once you got it open all you would find is a circuit board full of LED's and the load resistors needed to operate them.

I like the look of that new tail light. A big improvement over the stock lights. Should come standard on all bikes.
