Was my latest mod. Love it!

Took me a couple of hours... the four bolts holding the original insert in were AWFUL. Worth the work though!

I put one of these on my Fatbob a week ago and took a close look at it today and both the screw tabs that hold the light to the housing were broke. I probably put too much twist on when I installed them. There should be a small rubber washer under each tab too make up the gap. I salvaged mine with some small fender washers. Don't overtighten those screws! Mike.

Same thing happened to mine; but I expect that from a quality HD made in China part.

I got the chrome cover for my tri bar. Its a bit pricey for what it is but I had to have it. The part number is 68429 -09.

Hopefully the photo came through with the post.

Your not going to find one exactly like the tri-bar.
No one makes one like it for the older fenders.
But there are other options so your not stuck with the ugly stock unit.

You can get a Cat's Eye like this from J&P Cycle for under $60.

Or you can get a bulb or LED replacement light that fits into the space under the fender like the tri-bar.
But costs quite a bit less like one of these in the Custom Chrome catalog.

Good Luck and ride safe.

68429-09 is $86.02 at Zanotti.
