Imagine a Bar where lots of young riders hang out...

A slew of them are rocking literally identicle Nightsters at $9995.00 plus tax and set-up a pop.

They have a few cold beers....

Its closing time....

Yeah. Do the math!!

"Hey billy"... "Yeah?" "I think you are on my Nightster"....."Oh wow...My bad Bro".

Thank you all for all the great advises!
It's true there's lot of different possibilities with a softail. I think I'll listen the Chazmanian...and will post some picutres when the CrossNightrain will be born...

I'd go with buying a Springer front end as well.

Dang Schumacher...Every time I look at that plush looking Barco-Lounger you call a seat it reminds me of not only the incredible versatility of our fine Softail family bikes but also of....

How utterly miserable my LePera Bare Bonez must be in comparision!!!

Both of my **** cheeks go numb at about the 35 mile mark. I ride through the pain and then it gets better ending with a touch of pain in my lower back depending on how far I go....

100 miles each way or 200 round trip is about all I can stand on the Bare Bonez.

My bikes cruising range is a whopping 150-170 miles cuz' it straight gobbles the fuel.....So I cant make it far enough to really feel the pain as I have to find fuel every 2-3 hours on the Hwys.

I would keep it and do the conversion....
You'r going to loose you a** if you trade it in...or even try and sell it outright...

That being said....

If you want the XB go for it .... don't want to dump a bunch of money into something your not going to be happy with in the end,,,,

But your bike looks super cool!!! Seriously! I love the look of the sleek, lowered Night Trains.

To the original poster, just put a springer on and do your thing!!

Thanks mang....The slight bit of discomfort isnt a big deal anymore. I'm used to it. I put my badlander on the bike last week and felt all weird....The bare bones drops you down and back as far as you can be dropped.

Its pretty decent once you fight through the lil' bit of numbness and lower back pain?
