Those are some rides posted by Chaz. I really like the army green one with the whitewalls. That is so cool. You don't need to get a heartland kit to put on a full fender. You could just get a heritage or fatboy rear fender and bolt it on. Since you really don't see the back tire much with a longer rear fender, jsut keep the wheel setup you h ave for now. That can be done myuch less expensively than getting a new bike. Take some time and fgiure out exactly what you want and I am sure it will turn out great. There is no shortage of ideas around here.

My last bike was a Fatboy which I really liked. But always thought to myself, if i ever get a new bike, it will be a Night Train. I saw so many different variations of them, I just had to have one but figured it would be years away. Well, after my house caught fire, with Fatboy in the garage, here was my chance. I've had my Train for 3 years now and love it. My suggestion is keep your current bike and trick it out with what you have in mind.

Damn Chaz, about half way through your post I swear I could hear the Star Spangled Banner playing in the background!
You're right. Play around with parts a little bit, and you've got a completely different bike. Without too much effort or money you can make a Softail so unique that no one will ever mistake it for anyone else's.
