Thanks Rabbit.
I'm thinking the same as Hammer.
You wouldn't want the rest straight up and down

I almost got the HA backrest but couldn't quite squeeze the $$ out of my hand. I had the custom medium low on my bike and even it seemed a bit too bulky. So for just the cost of a new upright, I compromised and found one smaller than the HD from Khrome Werks that used the HD side plates. Pic is in my sig. Kinda like the old school look too. The HD upright is in the classifieds section now (hint, hint).

Thanks Greg, I checked out the Khrome Werks website, may go that route with a lower upright. Want a backrest that will fit the C&C Sport Tour a little tighter than the HD one I have.

Hey guys. The angle of the bracket is a question that came up a few months ago as we were changing the angle of the Dyna bracket. It is bent at a 105 degreen angle and we did that so it would work with the contour of the fender. One concern of our bringing it up further would be it forcing the pad into the seat. Would like to see how more people feel about the angle of the softail bracket as we have run of these going through the shop in a about a month.

Side note... we do offer discounts for the forum crowd. HDF2009 will take 10% off online or if you call in.
