One of the local dealers hosted the HD demo fleet this past weekend and I gotta say, it was pretty cool and a great way to check out different models. I was finally able to check out a V Rod Muscle, which was a blast to ride. Of course, very very different to my Bonz, but I walked away being really impressed with it. Hell, if I had the cash, I'd have one sitting in my garage next to my Softail.

I also like how the demo fleet process works as the signup portion is very easy; they even provided DOT helmets, and the 20 minute route was also well done.

i demo'd the muscle a couple of weeks ago also. definitely a thrillin ride

 

Ours was shut down early due to weather, all I got to try was a 1200C... Really wanted to try a V-Rod, RK and some of the Glides.

 

jisham - what was the route?

I wanted to go to that same demo, but I left for the beach on Friday instead.

 

Route was going south on Rt. 1 leaving the dealer, then taking a right on Rt. 100 which allowed us to get up to highway speed. Then we got off an exit that took us to Montgomery Street I think and that wound through some neighborhoods/backroads, leading us back to Rt. 1 in Elkridge by the Exxon Station. Took a right back onto Rt. 1 to get back to the starting point.
