Default Solo seat for 200 softail

I like the look of the HD Brawler seat, but I hate the chrome strap that is screwed into the fender. It is slotted and there is no reason for it. Anyone have a Lepera? What does the mounting hardware look like?

When you say "chrome strap", do you mean the "2-hole" mount at the rear of the seat? I have a custom 14" Mustang solo, and it comes converted to the one-hole system, with the keyhole assembly too (an actual HD one....). I got a chrome cap from my stealership (for about 2 bucks) to conceal the stock rear hole at the very back where the stock pillion attaches. I can put on my 2-up LePera in a few seconds, and vice-versa. I'll see if I have any close-up pics.

EDIT: Okay, I found a couple of pics I had taken with my cell-phone, so they are not great, but you might get the idea. Not sure if this is what you are looking for:

The chrome strap attaches to the rear fender. It is slotted and too long.

No on the cross bones, there is not two bolts like the atboy, there is one hole. The rear of the seat has a chrome strap that attaches to the fender. Instead of one hole, it is slotted.

Ahhhhh, sorry, I wasn't sure if it was for your '06 or '09. Admittedly, I didn't know what an FLSTSB is. (I'm a bit of a rookie, suppose I could have Googled it, but I acknowledge I had NO IDEA).

Jr, thats a nice set up you have. The brawler seat is almost like that, only instead of one hole to attach it to the rear fender, it is slotted.

Hey thanks, I like the Brwler seat, but it doesn't work with my tank panel because it's raised a little. Had to get LePera to customize one for me (notched out at the nose, like the CVO Springer). My Mustang went on no problem. See this link, the Brawler is listed as an exclusion.

From what i understand the Lepara's aren't very comfortable... not speaking from experience though. C&C makes a sweet solo, and you can get a nice pattern stitched in for less than a plain-jane brawler. I like my squareback so much that I didn't even look anywhere else when I decided I wanted a solo as well... Ordered it today
