Tom from http://harleygoodies.com/ here. A softail's ride is quite nice. I do not have a lopwrider, so I do not know how that rides, but my wife does have a sportster and it is not nearly as smooth as my softail. I think moving up to a fatboy is a great idea.

Best Regards,
Tom

Cool Fat Boy,

I have not ridden a Lowrider in the Harley line but I have to say, My 09 Fat Boy ride is the best I've ever had.

had LR before gettin Heritage. LR was a little more nimble...i keep scrapin' my floorboards in the curves, but I'm glad I switched to the Heritage. I almost said "upgraded", but it was more of a personal peference to me. LR is pretty versatile and handles well, but just didn't look right all dressed up the way I wanted to ride...like the Heritage does. test both and make up your own mind, but imo, I would pick the fatboy

the LR handles well, but the Heritage rides better....so the Fatboy would probably have both qualities. the best of both worlds, you could say

I ride bikes all day long, I love the fat tire up front. Get the Heritage or the Fat Boy
