Default The Tail of the Dragon (318 curves in 11 miles)!!

Any you guys ever rode "The Tail of the Dragon" going from Tenn thru N Carolina? It's a curvy winding road stretching thru the mountains of Tenn and S Carolina 11 miles long with 318 curves! I've done it twice now. It's pretty cool. You just gotta be careful. Check it out sometime!http://www.tailofthedragon.com/

I did it back about 10 years ago in my sports bike days when I was stationed in Millingtion TN. It was a blast but have not done it now that I am "growed up" and on a HD but would love too. There is some nice riding all over that area.

Heading there June 16 with my son (Rochester, MN to the Smokies) man4mopar. Plan to attach my camcorder to my handlebars and videotape the ride through it. Started a thread on things I bought for the trip. Really looking forward to it.

Cool. Enjoy the ride!!

You might want to check out the Blue Ridge Parkway on the way down. It's 469 miles of some of the most scenic views anywhere. 45 mph the whole way.
