If you decide to ride the Parkways near by also, I'd take some leather. It's about 18 degrees cooler up on the ridges. I personally like the parkways better than the Dragon. More scenic and laid back. But glad to say that I've done the Dragon!

 

how long would it take a guy to do the blue ridge if he left from deals gap resort in robinsville, nc and went all the way up the parkway and up skyline drive. Iam not talking stoping at every over look but stopping now and then. I will be leaving deals gap on wed and have to be back to columbus ohio by sunday afternoon. When i come down.

Did somebody say THE DRAGON ??? My most favorite paved riding location. Just there the end of April, go every April for the past few years. Only worth it to ride Mon-Thurs nowadays (weekend crowds).
You can have a BLAST on the Dragon! Wet or dry.




Prefer to stay in Stecoah on HWY 28 at the Kickstand Lodge....
