Glad you are still here and able to post about it and thanks for posting it. It reminds all of us to keep our eyes open. Also curious as to the gear you were wearing. Leathers (jacket, gloves), novelty helmet, etc... ?
i had that happen back in november and I Won. the deer did the same. i saw him and instead of slowing down i grit my teeth and opened the throttle. The deers mouth hit my leg and it caused the deer to spin around and miss the bike. yep it hurt but i knew if i was going down i was going to take the deer with me.
For those of you unfortunate enough to hit a deer on your bike, what's the best way to go about it? Serious question here.

I throttle up and it worked 2 times. I hit a coyote back in 83 and cut it in half. Only animal I wont try is a cow. they are so stupid they will hit you even if you stop.
