Sometimes participating dealers will give you a 20% discount if you are a member of H.O.G.

I have both my f250 and my wife grand caravan with them as well as home insurance. They normally give me great rates, this is why I have been with them for 17 years. I am also military so they give me rate cuts for this as well. I pay $400 a year for full coverage for my truck and my wife's van. At 35 years old with no claims or tickets they had better come lower or our 17 year love affair will come to an end.

Money talks!

I pay $425/year with great coverage, with replacement value for the first 2 years. I got mine thru AARP, yeah laugh but for $25 a year for AARP it's worth it, saved me $400/year on the car and $300/year on the bike. I guess it pays to be over 50. It mostly depends on where you live

Maybe if they laid off those two, we would not have to may more on insurance. The progressive lady is just about annoying.

WOW, that's crazy. My insurance through Progressive is only $507 a year for my Rocker-C. My house and cars are covered through USAA and found out that they can cover my bike for about $250 a year. I will be switching my bike insurance to USAA when my current policy expires.

If they told me my bike was classified as a touring bike I would expect ins to go DOWN. I've always heard touring bikes had the cheapest rates even though they cost more--people don't race them, squids and newbies don't ride them, and they have less wrecks. Has this changed?

Pays to shop around on insurance regardless of company .. Progressive was by far the best rate and coverage for 3 years running in my area, then threw the shaft to me the 4th year .. Cut their quote in half by adding on to Allstate which covers all my vehicles for umpteen years although 3 years ago Allstate was double what Progressive wanted .. if can figure where this makes sense doing better than me ...
