I recently noticed a small dent around the chrome ring around the speedometer after having apes put on by an independent shop. Anyone know if this is a seperate chrome ring around the speedometer or does the whole speedometer need to be replaced. It is a very small dent, but enough to annoy me. How much work is involved?

 

i don't know what kind of bike you got but on my ultra it didn't have chrome around the gauges when i bought it but the dealer sells the trim kits that i got to go around the gauges they are just taped on there and i did see individual chrome rings that you can buy very easy to do did all my gauges in about 5 minutes

 

Like o-o said, the H.D catalog has chrome trim rings or visor rings that cover the whole ring on the speedo with 3-m tape...Ray
