On June 16, 2009, my son (man4mopar) and I will be riding from Rochester, Minnesota to the Smokey Mountains. In preparation for that trip I have purchased several items that may be of interest to Forum members:
Will let you know what I think about the above items upon our return from this trip.
- Dunlop Elite III 240/40R18 rear tire
- Lyndall Gold Plus Brake Pads (Front and Rear)
- Bikers Friend Expandable Handlebar Bag
- Bikers Friend Saddle Bag Medium Large
- RAM-B-202AU Camcorder Mount
- RAM-B-201U-A Double Socket Arm
- RAM-B-231ZU Rail Base W/Ball & Zinc U-Bolt
Will let you know what I think about the above items upon our return from this trip.

If you have time jump on hwy 19E to Burnsville NC and go south on Hwy 80 it makes the dragon look like a kiddy trail... in some places you can look down and to your left and see 4 sections of the same road below you, plus its 30 miles longer than the dragon. at the bottom turn right on hwy 70 and you will be headed back toward Asheville.

Do you have some sort of case for your Nikon? I would be worried about some big bugs or rocks taking out your lense?

Not going to mount the Nikon, but I am mounting a small digital camcorder. Taking the Nikon for still shots when I am off the bike.
