d&d/ american ironhorse exhaust on a softail?
#2
The D&D Iron horse pipe will infact fit the softails. Same mounting points. If its the D&D 2-1 pipe made for the Ironhorse line it has the softail mounting points.
What will be an issue is that a few of those pipes had a built in outward cant like a Rocker pipe and some of the big motored Ironhorse bikes may have the larger Boarzilla style or 2" headpipe which is no good for you unless you have a 117 stroker or bigger. They generally will not have o2 ports either.
The D&D takeoffs pipes from the Ironhorse line have been floating around for a while and a guy can get a sweet deal on em and 90% of the time they work out good.... Just dont be in that 10%!!.

There is almpst always one on E-Bay fer' cheap....No o2 ports limit the buying pool as does the oversized headpipe on some units.
Some are even designed with an outward "Cant" to clear the fatass rear wheel. Like a Rocker pipe and will not sit as close to the swingarm like the non Horse specific pipes. Still a generally good deal for a guy looking at 2-1 pipes.
