Thanks Octobre! Although I prefer to call it "Narrow Assed" dig the styling and flow over the fatassed version.

When you sit mine next to a fatassed bike? Most folks suddenly see how the classic lines and styling cues get fuddled up in the extra 2-3 inches of fender on the 06+ versions with the 200MM tire.

The key with the narrow assed FXST bikes is to fit the fattest tire possible on the bike using that factory fender and lower em' a bit. You cant leave the narrow assed bikes at stock height or they look weird.

I run a 130 with 2 inch drop. Looks right. The fat fenders remind me of a duck bill

Good advice but I would rather pay a ticket every week than keep driving this way.

Been using joker machine - chopper pipes for 3 years now. Loudest pipes I've heard...next to LA choppers 187 pipes.

And by the way, putting loud pipes on just for the sake of being loud (by your own admission you're not interested in performance) is a squidly move. Overcompensation much?
I was thinking the same thing, maybe this explains it?:

These are awesome pipes and you don't see them all over town. They get my vote

You have the "Why don't people respect my Sportster", the "which handlebars should I get", and "what's the loudest exhaust"/which exhaust should I get" threads that constantly get regurgitated..It's always the people who either can't make a decision on their own, or who desperately want the approval of others that either can't work the search function, or who want to make sure their buying the latest 'internet approved' parts/bike.
So regardless of a 4 page thread dedicated to their question(s) being 3 slots down the board, they make another.
