Default LePera Seat from Heartland's EZ200 Kit

So everything else went together pretty well from Heartland. I also fixed my electrical gremlins. Unfortunately, the danny grey seat that comes with the kit doesnt seem to fit.

I slide it in the front and set it on the frame and there is a 1 - 2" gap between the fender and the suction cups. So, I'll kneel on the seat and push the back of the seat down to secure the cups.

I'm out riding today and I stop quick at a short yellow light and my seat unattached from the fender and slides forward. Then, I take off from the light quickly and it slides back into the fender. It's like the whole thing is about an inch or two too short.

Any you other Heartland kit owners have this issue? Suggestions? I'll be calling Heartland tomorrow...for 2 grand this should not be happening.

You try a different ecm tray. You need the deeper dish one. The stock one won't work. Mine sat the same way until I changed that. Everything under your seat has to be flush or else it won't work. I had a badlands equalizer and the harley run, turn, stop under my seat. It was 2 much stuff so I went with the badlands all in one and made sure everything was good with the new tray and it sits right down.

I just talked to Lonny at Heartland. He told me the seat wasnt made by LePera. Either way, I emailed him pictures and he said it was possibly the wrong seat but it definately seemed fishy. Hopefully this will be resolved quickly because its supposed to be 80+ here next week.

And I do have the new ecm tray.

Did you purchase the heartland kit? Should we have a poll then to see who purchased the product and was taken care of? Ill bet the numbers are in heartlands favor. Not a poll for who does not have the kit. Hey rope I hope you get your seat in the next day or two.
