Default Home made tank lift for Rocker

So I was bored again today so I decided to go to Lowes and make my own 2" tank life. I bought 2 u-bolts with flat stock and the holes were exactly 2 inches apart. $1.09 each. The bought a pack of 5/16" stainless bolts and nuts total $3.00. The only install i had to do was take the tank off, i wish i had less gas in it but, once the gas poured out and tank was off all i had to do was cut one zip tie to make the wires stretch further and reinstall the tank. The fuel line needs to be about an inch longer with will cost nothing. I did not paint the bracket yet, but i did snap a few pictures. Not bad bor less than $10 bucks and 30 minutes of time. plus with the tank off the engine got a good cleaning!!

I'm digging the "cheap" fix as I am doing this mod to my Train next. I have been looking for something on the cheap side that will look decent. This sounds like a look into approach, painted black they would blend right in on mine. Thanks for the post!!
