Default making my own heartland bobber kit

ok so after pricing the kit I about lost it ... got online ordered a seat and a fender and am so far out of pocket 350 bucks ... here are some pics of where I am at so far ... still have to finish cutting and fitting the fender but the seat and brackets are done for the most part

my bike is the 06 fxsti .. it was dirst stupid to make and all that is left is mounting the fender ... should be close if not done by this weekend

I agree, I looked at their kits and decided to do it myself. MUCH CHEAPER!!!!

rubicon.... where did you pick up those wheels that is step two for me ... yeah heartland is great for some one with out a welder and time but I just cant justify spending that much money on 350 dollars in parts and supplies ...

Keep us updated I have the Heartland kit. Just curious what you are going to use to cover the battery and how you are going to mount the fender?
