Default Screamin' Eagle II slip-ons

Im trying to see if a set of Screamin' Eagle II slip-ons would fit onto my 09 Softail Custom. I had a set on my Street Bob and they sounded great. Wondering if I would be able to put a set on the Custom.

The ones I am looking at are the older ones. The ones that Harley doesn't make anymore. They are actually stamped "Screamin' Eagle II" on the pipe. If they do fit I am going to get them. I just want to make sure before I go and buy something that won't fit.

ddc, I dont know about your '09, but I'll tell you about putting them on my '07. I'm sure you will run into the same thing. I had to retain the '07 head pipes because of the o2 sensors. Next I had to use the bracket assy that mounts the early mufflers becaused the new ones use a different mount. Then I removed the cross over/balance pipe that joins the two head pipes. I had to cut them out and weld in patches on the headpipes. Lastly I had to shorten the neck on the SEII's by an inch and a quarter and re-slot them so they would crimp properly. After all that, they sounded GREAT on the 96" engine. In retrospect, it's a whole lot easier to put on a set of Vance & Hines pipes, or any other aftermarket system, than it was to put on the SEII's. But as you can see, YES they will fit with some work.
