RudeDog, Are you able to make one out of just sold rod with that shape, minus the cross-over piece? Here's the kicker, could it be made quick release (just slide on the quick release studs already on the bike?)

This would be my question as well. I already have a detachable and would be curious if you could use the existing detachable bar as a template to make a detachable chainlink custom one.
BMR and RudeDog, the Sissy bar is sweet as hell!
