Grips
Wife is wanting new grips for her Heritage. saw some at the icehouse this past weekend...she didn't tell me she wanted grips until we got home.
what I'm looking for is advice.
the one's she described were chrome with black spots (large areas) on them....
If they're metal I don't see how they would be comfortable. what she's looking for is chrome and black but she doesn't want to lose any comfort. she does ride with gloves. the stock grips are soft.....so any pics, links, comments, etc would be appreciated. (this will be part of Mothers day gift to her!)

I just put these Avon grips on. The surface is similar to the Renthal surface that is on the more expensive PM grips. I don't believe the Avon use any sort of liner that slides over the bars, just the rubber-like gripping surface in the picture so they are pretty small around which I like and your wife might also.

Sounds like they would be similar to the Diamond Plate grips:

I put the Ironside grips on my FB. I really like them.

+1 for the Kury's. I have them and they are extremely comfortable. Just be careful to place them properly, and by that I mean twist the grip to the position you will generally use for riding before applying the adhesive. Those large black rubber "spots" obviously twist as you move the throttle and you don't want them to only be comfortable when you are at idle, lol!
