I agree also. Got rid of the hd flame grips and replaced them with the iso grips. Much better!

That's what I thought of, too. I had a set on my '05 EGC and they are very comfortable and the throttle boss is nice. I am going to switch out the bars on my SG later this summer and will be going to the Iso's again.

I ran across these at a dealer over the weekend. Wonder if the leather would hold up and if they would eventually get the hand grease wear look on them. I have large skinny hands so a bigger grip would be my choice. Some of the HD grips are to small for my hands

throttle boss is that small part that lets you use the palm of your hand to hold the throttle open so you can stretch your hand and fingers

The CoolSac grips are larger diameter than HD's and very comfy. These have been on my bike almost 2 years now and still look, feel and work great.
Just checked the mileage, over 23k of use.
I noticed the left grip ragged edge when I took these pics, easy fix.
Pulled the grip off...foam padding between the leather and actual grip, chrome end cap is snapped on with some kind of snap and stay device, no need to remove it anyway, simple tuck job to make it like new again.
