Trying to install my Rear Alert and I'm getting no response from it. Running light module is working as normal.

I figured I would connect it into the module leads so that in the event I ran into an inspection issue I could just pull the module.

I connected it into the upper lead of the module and I'm thinking that may be the problem. Not sure why it would be an issue but can't think of anything else.

As usual, simple 5 minute job turns into a nightmare.

Any ideas?

Hooray, my problem is solved. Just in case someone in the future has a similar problem I'll post the solution.

TK353 pmed me and explained how he had his hooked up and it turned out it was the same way I did it. So with that bit of info I went back and checked my connections. Found the press on connector for the ground wasn't tight enough. Once I clinched it down more the Rear Alert worked fine. Brake and both tailights flash before going solid. Thanx again to TK.

I had also contacted the guy I bought it from on ebay. He didn't know why it wasn't working but suggested that if I only wanted the brake light to flash I could connect the Rear Alert past the HDrunning light module instead of before it.
