need baffle removal help
I know this subject has been answered on here before just don't remember it...have a set of V&H Big Radius'... as mentioned before by others the bottom baffle comes out easy enough...its that top one that causes people, including myself now, the most issue....can anyone who has done this before tell me if they found an easy way to remove that POS from the pipe...thank you

I put a 1" bolt back into threads of the baffle on the inside. Then put a 1 1/8" box end wrench over the 1" bolt. Then attached vice grips to handle on box wrench at 90 degree angle and beat it out with a mallet. It took me about 10 seconds to get it out once i got the set up.
After everything else I tried... I was amazed at how easy it came out with this method.

I did exactly the same thing with quiet baffles and the end of the baffle tore off from the smaller diameter piece, the piece wrapped with fiberglass where it is spot welded. What a pos!! I was very patient, took my time over a couple days to try and remove it. Tried with pipes hot, pipes cold, warm, wd40, spinning them... One baffle took some work but eventually came out ok. The second was destroyed.
I truly hope you have better luck and yours are not the q baffles. If they are and you reinstall them, wrap the fiberglass with small wire first because the glass is what jams them up, creating a wedge between baffle and pipe.
Despite the pita, I am glad I removed the q baffles. The bike runs better from low/mid to high rpm's with the stock ones... Others have had better luck although most do not have cammed bikes so that may make a diff...

thanks for the input...got it out...ended up putting a smaller size chain on the bolt I reversed on the inside of the pipe....chain was about two feet long....took a screw threw the other end and screwed it into a 2"x8" running overhead in my garage....WD-40 the hell out of it ...then just started yanking on it til it came out...worked great
