Default New Softail owner here

Rode to the dealer on Friday to "see what they had." Was riding down the road the next day one less Sportster and one more 2006 Black and White Deluxe. I have loved the Softail since I was a little kid and never thought I'd own a Deluxe, but after putting on some hard miles yesterday, I'm so glad I do. What do you think, sissy bar on or off?

Oh hell, another submarine sailor.

Congrats on the bike and welcome to the forum! Need pictures ... quick.

Sissy bar is up to you. That is the best part of the bolt-on, you can change things on a whim. I can set mine up with different stuff depending on the mood or mission.

I like the sissy bar look plus it keeps my better half on back when I decide to romp on the throttle.

The thing I like about that deluxe the most is that rear fender, the more you can show it off the better. If it were mine and I was riding solo I would take the sisy bar and bags off, then put the whole set up back on if I need to pack more gear with me.

good lookin scoot!

thats why I put a detachable sissy bar on my Fatboy.
I like the looks of it allot more without it but's a must when the girlfriend rides with me.
