Default No baffles

Can you actually damage your engine if you run without baffles?

you can only damage the engine if you run too lean or too rich, I don't think the baffles have anything to do with it

I have straight pipes on my deluxe with Torque cones and it runs like a champ, no power loss what so ever.

If you remove the baffles you should have Torque cones installed, helps keep some low and midrange torque, a couple of guys I ride with have that combo

Thanks for the input. I bought a bike with no baffles and thought I read somewhere on here that the popping on deceleration was a bad thing.

Guess I've got nothing to worry about...minus some torque.
