A washer underneath STEM NUT was piece of junk, I have 07 Night Train. I am going to get a new and improved thicker washer from HD (Part # 45727-08).

Anyhow, where can I get a proper tool for "star like looking adjusting nut"?

1. Where to get it?
2. Name of the tool to ask?
3. Price if you remember?

Thanks,

Dan.
The Harley Touring service manual suggests you go to a local hardware store and get a 1/4" steel rod to use to turn the star like adjusting nut. I went to Lowes and got one from the hardware aisle for $3.49. You can bend it to suit your needs. You can also use a long screwdriver but you have to be careful so as not to ding your gas tank.

When you adjust your neck be real careful tapping on the teeth, very soft metal.
