Default Haulen *** or Softbrake for Deluxe?

Does anyone here have the Haulen *** license plate braket for the Deluxe? I can't decide between it and the Softbrake. I like the Softbrake a bit more, but it costs a lot more! Please give me any feedback about either, and pics if you have them! Thanks, Keith

Softbrake relocation kit works well. It is worth the money IMHO. No pics of it at the moment, as they are on my other computer, but I am pretty sure someone on this forum has one. Also, check the photo gallery on the softbrake site, and you should see a good shot of the back end of a Deluxe with the kit installed.

I'm a softbrake owner. My only complaints are that I had to cut my plate so that it wouldn't pinch the wire and their LED plate frame doesn't light the entire plate up. It's much cleaner to relocate the plate beneath the tail light than to just lay it down.

My wife has the Haulin *** laydown on her Deluxe. Sorry no pictures yet. It has the same angle as the fender. She got the $15 HD chrome license plate frame for it. Looks better than the stock billboard frame.

After we ordered it I saw a different one from Drag Specialties. It comes in billet as just a bit more than the stainless steel HA one. Had I known I probably would've checked it out.

if you get a chance, please post some pics of that Haulen ***. I still think I am leaning towards the Softbrake, and just use a different frame.

The softbrake kit that relocates the plate to below your lights is the way to go. It is a bit more cash as you have to buy the new tombstone housing and the plate relocator, but it is worth it for looks. No more billboard, and cleans up your rear fender nicely. Softbrake has pictures on their website.

This is what it would look like:

Main reason wife went with it over the softbrake was she was thinking of getting a cb radio and the antennae bracket would get attached to the license plate frame.
