I have the Ceramic "Black" Street sweepers and love them, Had Python's Staggered duals originally but wanted black pipes.
The Street Sweepers are a little quieter at idle but just as loud when you crack the throttle.
No complaints at all.

If anyone is looking for the Python's, I'll let them go real cheap.

I have the street sweepers on my bike. I like the turned out look better plus I did not want dust blowing all over the rear of my bike. As others have said they look and sound great. No problems with mine so far.

The Ground Pounders look pretty cool. I like that design better of the two.

pounders look better on the train, sweepers on a standard or deuce. I have the big radius and love the curves, that's why my votes for the pounders.

The thing I've found from people who say Samsons suck is they either had them back in the 90's, or knew someone who did. I have yet to see anyone on this forum, or the other ones I frequent, complain about any that have been bought over the last 5 or so years. As you can see just in this thread there are people who have had them even longer. There may be preferences over sound or looks, but not quality.

Because they apparently had some QC issues back in the 90's doesn't mean they haven't straightened that out, and comments from recent owners bears that out.

I have a buddy w/Street Sweeper's and they are the loudest damn pipes i've ever heard. I have the Samson Balogney's w/intagrated baffles, love the deep growl, and they are a little quieter at idle than some other pipes, but they sure wake the hell up when throttled.

2 months ago I put a set on a night train. Chrome flaked off on initial start up.

I have the sweepers very happy much quieter than my old pythons.

Very pleased with the quality after one season.
