Today's "HOW TO" mount a laptop to a FatBoy:

The butt-dyno says "two-thumbs-up"...... Way better than stock. The support from Doc and Steve at TTS was excellent. A few things missing (or vague and open to interpretation) in the instructions, but I think I made out okay. I followed the directions to a TEE...... JR

Thanks Rail.... I have his newest literature dated Apr. 11/09. Worked like a charm (I think?)... Just got back from a 3 hour ride. Wicked!..... JR

I didn't try it running Leopard, as the TTS system in not Mac compatible, but it worked fine running Windows XP on JUST the battery power..... WITH the lid closed....... AWESOME. Glad I started this thread...... JR

This is one of many uses for an unused hockey stick, a chunk of plywood, a couple of towels, a handle from an automobile ice scraper, some zip-ties, (metal wire by the exhaust instead of zip-ties), some bungey-cords, a few other bits and pieces, and a little bit of "MacGyver"'ing....
Well, here's how I mounted my laptop to the back of my bike (for the TTS calibration) if anyone is interested. If anyone has pics of how they did it, I'd like to see them.
EDIT: There IS a small black bungey that is for holding the computer in the tray. I'll attach a picture of shortly.
EDIT #2: VERY IMPORTANT..... TTS software is NOT compatible with Macintosh OS-X. I'm running Boot Camp with Windows XP Pro on an Intel-based Mac.... JR

Put on a backpack and put the computer in and went for a ride several times.
