Ya, I need to make 2 thirty minute rides while recording data, then I need to blend those values against a baseline to create a new map for my ECM. I have heard of people using a back-back for their computer, but I think mine goes to sleep when I close the lid. I can't find a setting to change the actions.

As far as I know, Macbook will not run lid closed mode if AC power is not available. Now you need a power transformer lol.

The lid options are in the power options in your control panel even in XP.. Not sure if this is an option with the Mac though..

Like others, I just put mine in a backpack and went for a long ride.. Remember to shut the datamaster program off before shutting the pike off.. Also, if you're using the usb port you might was to put a little duct tap on the plug so it won't pop out.. If it does pop out it will automatically stop recording.. Same with killing the bike on the ride..

If you don't have Doc's new TTS simplified instructions shoot me a pm with your email and I'll send the file..

If you don't have Doc's simplified instruction manual go here to download it..
