Default Lowered Fatboy and motorcycle lift are butting heads. Need suggestions.

My fatboy is lowered 2" in the rear and stock up front. I have the popular and heavily copied Craftsman motorcycle lift and my bike is just too low for me to get it underneath it. Keep in mind I'd like to be able to lift my bike on my own as my wife has a terrible record of dropping furniture, and such, whenever I use her as a helper.

I've looked at the lift and I really can't come up with anything that I would consider a safe modification to add capacity and I don't really want to remove the wheels to only gain maybe a 1/4". I think I'm a strong 1" off of getting to where I need to be.

Any tips, home made ramps, or such that anyone could suggest to where I could safely use my stock Craftsman lift, by myself, to get this thing up in the air. Thanks...

Ride the rear tire up on a 2x8, or whatever you have, and use the same material for underneath the jiffy stand.

I had the same problem after I lowered my rocker...I put a piece of 2x6 under my rear tire...push it up onto the 2x6 and am now able to slide the lift under the bike...I have to do the same thing of course when I take it off the lift

Had the same deal, drive it onto 2x10s under each wheel. Just remember your side stand is now useless without its own lumber as well.

I guess I couldn't ask for an easier solution--I don't know why I didn't think of this. Seems I had a bad case of tunnel vision revolving around some sort of ramp. Thanks for the tips men!
