Default Wallet

One of the guys at the dealer told me about the wallet thing too. It must be an on going joke. I don't ride with a wallet. I have a true leather seat and you can see the mark from the seam of my pants going right down the middle. I've been riding motorcycles since I was a little kid. I have never ran into this problem with any other bike. Now that I have over 30k invested into my Softail Custom, it's not as easy to just trade it in. I will take it to 50 more Harley Davidson technicians if I have to get this matter resolved. The reason for my post was to see if anyone else is having the same issue, not to question my riding habits. It's all I think about while riding this beautiful machine.

I would guess a wheel not square to the frame. Hope you get it figured out.

My bike felt like that immediately after I had my tires replaced, but it resolved itself within the first day. I think the crown of the tires just had to wear down a little. Maybe there's a manufacturing defect in one of your tires?

When did you notice the lean? Before or after putting $30K into it? I don't want to sound rude, but it would be odd if you dumped 30 grand into a bike after you noticed a lean. If it was after, then I would suspect one of the mods you've had done that is causing the lean to be noticeable.

For reference, I know the left side is heavier, but I don't notice a lean on my 08 Train.

Christ. I covered this in great detail a couple of weeks ago.

The lean is generally not noticed without a windshield or a rounded top. Very noticable with Windvest straight top windshield.

Default lean

They crown almost all the roads around here. I notice it in my truck. Never paid it any attention on the bike. Wow.....Now I've got something else to watch for on my ride this weekend.

This happened to me for a little while after i adjusted the shocks. I didn't mark the starting point. After tweaking one shock a little more than the other a coulple times it got better. But if you try this mark your starting point so you can put it back to stock if you don't like the result. if its pulling right than adjust the right shock. I got it to almost go away than after riding few hundred miles or so it completly was gone I'am guessing the tire started to wear in my favor a little. Hope this helps but for me it was trial and error and it finnally went away.
