Default turn signal as running lights?

I am putting the Doss turn signal bracket on the wife's Heritage and adding red lights to use as running lights. Now on my bike a Honda VTX I used the Kuryakyn run brake signal controller and am wondering if this same setup will work on her bike also. My guess is yes but I am looking for any input from the HD crowd who may have done this mod before. TIA

HD has the Auxiliary Turn/Brake Conversion...

It is a "Plug and Play", with new (Red) lenses....

PN 69461-06...

Cost is about $45 to 50....

No cutting, splicing....

Just Disconnect and install between the two plugs.....

JMPO...

I wish it was "Plug and Play" for my bike...

But, mine is too old and those kits have too many wires for me to mess with.

I just got a couple of Dual filament sockets from AutoZone and put them in

my back turn signal sockets with new bulbs and wired as Running Lights.

I had a choice to make them Running Lights or Brake Lights.

It worked out well.

I just did it to my 2005 fatboy, worked out really nice. I used the Kuryakyn wiring harness.

My X was a retro but is now a fat tired VTX, I want a HD though and have been thinking of selling the X.
