Default Long Pipes + Lowered + Passenger = Pipes Scrapes?

Just got some V&H long pipes installed and I scrape them a bit when I'm riding 2 up. Is that pretty normal? Just wondering if I should raise me bike up a bit or if its ok to scrape em once in a while, dont want to ruin them.

I have a heritage with rush slip ons and even by myself I've dragged the pipes...and the boards... bike is stock and I'm 180 pounds. I guess they are set up more for comfort than corner carving

My big shots staggereds and something under my bike grind so hard that my old lady said they threw sparks when I pulled out of the driveway the other night...

Lowered Softail = Grindage!

I have 08 Rocker C with V&H Big Radius pipes, I scrape my right peg and lower pipe turning right and my left peg and kickstand going left. It's a hard transition from sport bike to cruiser...I know. I know I should probably slow down...

At least you can feel better knowing that all our bikes scrape, grind and in my case throw huge sparks showers.

That being said....I think peg, pipe and kickstand scrapage on our softails and the baggers is a dirty secret up at Moco.

Dyna's and Sportsters? The ones I have ridden did not grind, scrape or have any issues like my bike.

That being said? I much prefer getting my "Grind On"
