mine is also the leatherworks 5" model (312xlhd) from sideroadcycles.. it is big enough for me, holds a suprising amount actually.. real nice bag without the bulk and appearance of traditional bags..

That looks just like the bag I bought off ebay about a year and a half ago. I can't remember for sure the brand, But I'm 99% sure it was a La Rosa. It looks identical to that one from the white stitching to the buckles and all. Or at least it did look like that. It looks like chit now!! It won't hold its shape and it needs to be redyed because it's more brown now than black. The lid won't even hold its shape. It's real thin leather and it sags. I wouldn't buy another one from them ever. I keep my bike in a storage building, so it's not out in the weather. So I don't know why it didn't last. I'd spend the extra money and get a real quality leather bag from some one else.
Just my 2 cents. Hope it helps.

Chop On,
Robert
That was what I figgered when i bought the La Rosa.

Buy cheap? Buy twice!

Figger If I end up digging the bag I will look into some higher end options next year when mine is ready for the trash can.

Dammit.

I've been considering ordering one of these. They look as though they require you to remove the leftside passenger footpeg. Is that correct?

I ride two up alot, is there a way to have the bag and keep the footpeg?

Also, I'm adding a laydown license palte holder. Where to you gusy place your inspection sticker since the laydown style eliminates the factory plate tab?

Thanks

No need to remove passenger footpeg...It attaches to the swigarm without any issues....Two-up is not affected!!

I am not sure about the "best deal"...I wanted a quality bag made by somebody close to home...so I went with http://garageleathers.com/

Good luck with whoever you choose...I think it's a great additonal piece for storage, especially for somebody like me, who doesn't care for saddlebags!!
