Default Flush mount cap

I got the flush mount fuel guage ad cap kit from HD..just need to know if the gas cap clicks when tightened or just screws tight?? the stock cap clicks when tightened to prevent over tighting..but I can't get the flush mount to click it seems to just screw tight..just need to know before I screw something up..

Thanks

While in the up position you just screw it tight, then push down on it and turn a little more and it will be secured in the down position.

Yeah there is no click sound like with the stock fuel cap, just screw it tight, then push down and give it a little turnclockwise to lock it in

You don't and shouldn't screw it tight. That is what is causing these pieces of crap to fail according to HD. Turn until snug then depress and twist.
