??? I am confused. I just measured my 03 Train light and it measures 5.5". I could have sworn I just read where someone called it a 7" light? AJAugust, can you confirm the dimensions on this cat?

I have been useing one caled candelpower bulb they last a good time and take the rubber boot off

Hi John,
Yes, this is to confirm... The FatBoy headlights have a 7 inch headlight. This size represents one of the most common headlights used from as far back as I can recall. I had a 1967 VW Beetle, and it had the same 7 inch size headlight. All early BMW motorcycles, some early model Suzukis, even for the first several years Ford Mustangs came with 7 inch headlights.
As far as I know, all FatBoys come with 7 inch headlights. I can't speak about other HD models, including the Night Trains.
What is unique about this is that this 7 inch size is still readily available today!!

whats so special about the bosch lens it is cheap for a harley motorcycle part. Most lens are about 69 and up.

What model Silverstar do you use and would it also fit in a Dyna Headlight which is 5-3/4 "
